He commenced his legal career in Templars Law firm, a full commercial service firm with diverse areas of law, from where he garnered and mastered in depth knowledge and practice of the current focus areas of his law practice.

In his experience in the construction industry, Afolabi provides experienced and holistic legal counsel throughout the life cycle of projects through project performance including the drafting and developing civil works and infrastructural agreements, advising on subcontracts to supply and maintenance issues and dispute resolution representing the interests of several leading construction and realty companies in Nigeria noted for several iconic building developments both residential and commercial as well as service stations.
